CKM Sports Management is excited to announce the approval of a research project in collaboration with Riipen and the University of Texas Arlington!

The project will focus on the transfer flow of players between leagues worldwide to determine the statistical thresholds that influence a player’s career.

Through the evaluation of big data and the implementation of machine learning, it’s our goal to not only be able to identify the historical trends of a player’s professional career, but predict a player’s future career.

Riipen is a network technology company that connects University programs with companies for the purpose of providing real world work experience through specialized projects.

As a hockey specific player agency who utilizes technology and data to provide a competitive advantage to our Clients, we are always looking for innovative ways to identify and offer playing opportunities across the globe.

“The technological advances that are being made in machine learning and the capability of data is something I feel the hockey industry wants and would find significant value in.

Personally, I’m extremely excited to move forward with this project as our ability to advise and provide benefit to players on their career path only gets stronger with the knowledge and statistical evidence.” – Cliff Mander, CEO/Player Agent, CKM Sports

We look forward to announcing our findings in January!
