We are pleased to announce that Matt Salhany has re-signed with the Reading Royals!

Salhany concluded his final year at the University of Alaska-Hunstville being named WCHA Scholar-Athlete. In his final season with the Chargers he recorded 13 points (6g-7a) and 10 penalty minutes in 34 games at Alabama-Huntsville. Salhany, who was selected as the team’s Freshman of the Year in his first year at UAH, picked up a total of 43 points (17g-26a) and 41 penalty minutes in 137 total games throughout his collegiate career.

At the end of his senior season Salhany began playing for the Reading Royals. In three regular-season games with the Royals, Salhany scored one goal—his first as a pro, which proved to be the game winner in a 4-1 win for the Royals over the Elmira Jackals on March 11.
