As an organization we operate to understand trends and identify the future before it arrives. This approach specifically pushes us to understand what performance statistics are dictating NHL salaries; independent of existing CBA and contractual regulations. 

In collaboration with the UBC School of Economics we completed three studies. 

• Paid to Play: An Analysis of NHL Defensmen Salary in Relation to Individual On-ice Performance by Kimberley Woo
• Predicting Winder Salary Given Performance in the National Hockey League by Sutton Schiefner
• Determining an NHL Center’s Value: Salary Based on Performance Data  by Austin Tonack
